The vision of The Philanthropy Fellowship North West (TPFNW) is that everyone in the region, whether personally or through workplace, corporate, charitable trust/foundation or organisational initiatives, undertakes some philanthropic activity each year to support local communities to be prosperous and thriving. We aim for the Fellowship to be a network of community philanthropists with shared principles to support local communities now and in the future. The purpose of TPFNW is to promote philanthropy in its broadest sense so that, in the North West, it is better understood, more widespread and embedded into future generations.

The Philanthropy Fellowship North West, supported in its development by Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, drives its own vision and delivers its own activities, working in collaboration with the Community Foundation for Merseyside as the charitable body for TPFNW alongside Community Foundation for Lancashire and Community Foundation for Cheshire as collaborative partners.

The Philanthropy Fellowship North West commits to being strategically focused on promoting strength through synergy and generating excitement and energy for philanthropy.
