Call out to BAME artists!

Hi, my name is Cheryl Martin and I’m looking for Black, Asian, and other diverse artists from Liverpool and Merseyside for opportunities with a new program called Slate.

Want to take your work to the next level? Want to try directing, or producing, or get some hands-on experience as a technical artist?

We’re offering commissions, residential masterclass weeks, help with PR and marketing, space and time to work on any idea you like, the chance to pick a mentor or get a creative consultant in to help – and more.

We want to help you grow as an artist, and figure out what kind of artist you want to be. And if you already know that, then figure out how to help you climb higher.

If you are an MC, a film-maker, a digital artist, a sculptor, a visual artist, a producer, an actor, a technician, a rapper, a musician, a dancer, a director, a writer -- whatever you are or want to be, we’d like to meet you and find out what kind of opportunities you want.

Slate is a three-year program from Eclipse Theatre, a black theatre company based in Sheffield. You can check Eclipse out here:
