About UYT

Unity Youth Theatre

Working alongside professional theatre companies, performers and practitioners, Unity Youth Theatre (UYT) members gain valuable experience in the performing arts, developing a wide variety of skills to create original performances on unity's stages. It’s open to all young people from the age’s 14-18 years and we are interested in hearing from young people interested in a wide range of theatre arts.

We have a waiting list for places but as a member on the list you receive ticket discounts and selected invitations to exclusive events.

About Esther Wilson

Esther Wilson is a an award winning Liverpool playwright and screenwriter. She has written for Bafta and Emmy award winning shows The Street and Accused. She has also won an RTS Award for best newcomer for The Street.

As a playwright she has won an Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award for Unprotected and was shortlisted for both a TMA Award and the Susan Blackburn Smith Award for Ten Tiny Toes.

She has also been shortlisted for a number of awards for her radio plays.
