" A love letter to Liverpool's most vibrant and resilient neighbourhood... a show well worth experiencing"
Arts City Liverpool (more?)

The city is alive. Wandering the streets, The Child, The Poet and Death trace memories and map dreams onto a landscape shifting under the spell of time.

Inspired by the incredible work of Liverpool's world-renowned poet Adrian Henri, Horny Handed Tons of Soil fuses beat poetry with folk song; electronic composition with live brass & percussion and documentary film with theatrical storytelling. Produced in response to the 50th anniversary year of The Mersey Sound.
