Autumn 2017 |
Murray Lachlan Young
Supported by Mellor & Steele

'Simply brilliant, hysterically funny and strangely moving' Claudia Winkleman

Widely regarded as one of the best-known poetry voices in Britain, acclaimed playwright, actor and writer Murray Lachlan Young is celebrated for his hybrid mix of stand-up comedy and poetry with delightful commentaries on the bizarreness of contemporary life.

Coinciding with the April 2017 publication of How Freakin' Zeitgeist Are You Murray's new collection of works on Unbound comes a brand new show. Live and onstage - expect flamboyant, punchy wit and brooding subtext with empathetic humour and occasional attacks of original erotic folk song!

About Mellor & Steele

Mellor & Steele are an award-winning spoken word and electronic music duo comprised of writer and performer Ben Mellor and sound designer and composer Dan Steele. They combine poetry, guitar, rap, keys, beatbox, drum machines, live-looping and the occasional daft costume to create a unique and powerful sound that wears its heart on its sleeve at the same time as having its tongue firmly in its cheek.
