Where Caterpillars Go

Where Caterpillars Go

Thu 19 - Sat 21 February 2015

A magical family show | Perfect for ages 2+

Follow an inquisitive caterpillar into a beautiful garden where together we’ll explore life, growth, wonder and loss through live music and playful movement in this fun and visually striking show.

A thoughtful look at the cycle of life, explored within a garden where almost everything is made from paper. Watch seeds fly, fall and sprout, and shoots spiral and uncurl.

Chase leaves and butterflies as they flutter by in this lively garden that pops up before your eyes!

Perfect for children under 5 and their families the show is limited to 60 people to create an intimate & magical experience.

A Travelled Companions production

Travelled Companions
Our mission is to create stimulating theatrical environments for children and their families to explore and engage with.

Travelled Companions was co-founded in 2010 by Leila Chebbi & Emma Hirons. They premiered their first production ‘Remember Remember’ at Unity Theatre, Liverpool in early 2011. The production, for children aged 4-7 years, has since toured to Theatres nationally and was later re-developed to enable touring to schools and community venues.

Their second production Where Caterpillars Go, for an Early Years audience, was created over a six month period in 2014 and was premiered at Unity Theatre in October 2014. The production will tour nationally throughout 2015.

Travelled Companions work closely with Unity Theatre and have been mentored and supported by them from their early stages of development. Travelled Companions are thrilled to have recently been asked by Unity to become an Associate Company.

Travelled Companions have also begun working alongside Liverpool Hope University Dance Course on the Community and Applied Practice Module where students have used ‘Where Caterpillars Go’ as stimulus for their Early Years projects
