4th — 9th July
Physical Fest present a series of workshops with leading practitioners this July in collaboration with Unity.
4th — 6th July
This is an entirely practical course on devising or to be more accurate: collaborative writing.
This workshop, focusing on personal atmosphere, will offer participants an introduction to the Michael Chekov training.
7th — 28th July
The Writers Salon is a weekly peer-led, unstructured session for writers of all kinds. It’s a 2-hour block in your week to commit to your writing, whether that’s actually getting words on the page, or connecting with other writers to read each other work or to do writing exercises together.
Every Thursday, the Unity Bar is open for hotdesking.
This workshop will focus on developing a playful, expressive performer, creating physical sequences, physical devising methods and working as an embodied ensemble to explore ideas, character or story.
An exploration of physical comedy and clown techniques to develop playfulness with scene partners, the audience, boost stage presence and find a game in every scene.
8th — 9th July
Tmesis and Unity are offering two bursary places for each workshop, available by application to underrepresented artists in Merseyside. To find out more about applying for a bursary place, please visit here: https://www.tmesistheatre.com/physical-fest/workshops/
