Homotopia 2019: Resist! Resist!

Homotopia Golden Supporter Club

Do you believe in increasing diversity in the arts and raising LGBTQ+ voices? Homotopia needs you! Here’s your chance to champion emerging new talent and build a bright future for the UK’s longest running LGBTQ+ arts and cultural festival.

What do you get as a Golden Supporter?

Funding emerging artists is vital to our theatre ecology, and allows for a wider and more diverse range of LGBTQ+ artists to be supported through our Queer Core Programme. By investing in a golden ticket, you can help us financially and artistically support and commission theatre makers, performance artists and writers to make art that challenges the status quo and champions LGBTQ+ rights in new and fresh ways, to be performed in Homotopia 2020. Without the Gold Supporters Scheme, this is not possible.

To say thank you, you’ll be given a GOLDEN TICKET to this year’s Homotopia Festival. That means you’ll get exclusive, complimentary access to each and EVERY event at this year’s exciting and diverse festival in November 2019 (1-10th).

This year we are excited to bring you a fabulous selection of LGBTQ+ artists across November, including JOAN, a re-imagining of the tale of 1420’s France, but with lyrical writing and drag king cabaret, and new work by the critically acclaimed Split Britches. They’ll be exhibits by local artists, family-friendly shows, radical performance art, and much more, taking place in the Unity Theatre and all over the city this November.

By buying one of these exclusive tickets, you will get your name in the Homotopia brochure (if you sign up before the brochure deadline of 23rd of August), and a listing on our website (if you wish to of course!). We will let you know the full programme before anyone else, and keep you in the loop about what we are up to.

Join this exclusive Golden Supporter Club, with just 20 Golden Tickets available in 2019, priced at £200 each.

Previous artists supported by the Queer Core Programme include;
