Dead Mom Play
Saturday 1st March
7.30pm
In this dark comedy from slightly acclaimed Playwright and Director Ben Blais, “A Linguistic Genius” – A Youngish Perspective, a young man named Charlie verbally spars with his critical mother (R.I.P.) and a scythe wielding Scouser in a hood (sexy), as he struggles to accept the harsh reality and unrelenting oddities of the grieving process, all while stuck in a play of his own creation. Fresh off a mildly successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Dead Mom Play comes to The Unity Theatre for one night only! Do you like New Writing? Do you like LIPA graduates? Do you like supporting small businesses? What’s your favourite color? Mine is turquoise. Do you like swerving and bending that corner wooaahh? But seriously folks, I digress…Do you like to laugh and cry and also enjoy sick pop culture references? Then pull up on March 1st at 7:30pm. It’s gonna be a movie!
