Fashion student and popular sorority sister Elle Woods enrols at Harvard Law School in a bid to win back the boyfriend who dumped her because she wasn’t ‘serious’ enough.
Once there, she overcomes hostility and mockery from her peers and professors as she starts to realise her potential. By the second semester Elle is accepted as an intern by a top lawyer and plays a crucial role in a high-profile murder case.
Based on the 2001 comedy film, Legally Blonde is a feel-good musical and underdog story of self-discovery, self-belief and the power of self-determination.
Performed by LIPA students from all disciplines and external performers.
If you see the Fringe stamp, that means the show has been produced by our Management students. Every aspect of the show has been co-ordinated by students from scratch – an activity that will often be a part of their working lives, since staff won’t be around to help… once we’re graduated.
This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International (Europe)
All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI Europe www.mtishows.co.uk
