One Under
by Winsome Pinnock

When a young man jumps in front of a train Cyrus is driving, the mysterious circumstances prompt him to search for answers. In pursuing the truth of Sonny's final hours, Cyrus is led to laundrette worker Christine, as the past begins to catch up with people whose lives are changed forever.

Graeae are world-renowned for placing D/deaf and disabled artists centre-stage. All performances of One Under will feature creative captioning and audio description.

An evocative play about the power of guilt and the quest for atonement, award-winning playwright Winsome Pinnock (Rockets and Blue Lights) and Graeae’s associate director Amit Sharma (The Solid Life of Sugar WaterCosmic Scallies) join forces to explore the fragility of human relationships in this reimagining of One Under.

One Under deals with issues and topics which some audience members may find challenging, including depression, paranoia and suicide. Suitable for ages 16+.
