She's Leaving Home

Wed 31 May - Fri 09 June 2017

Summer 2017 | Sgt. Pepper at 50
Presented by 20 Stories High with Phelim McDermott
Hurry - only 10 tickets per show!

20 Stories High with Phelim McDermott (Improbable) are proud to announce a brand new show for Summer 2017 – She’s Leaving Home.

Inspired by the legendary Beatles song, the show has been specially commissioned as part of Liverpool’s celebration of the 50th anniversary of Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Researched and developed with young adults in Liverpool, the play will explore themes around home, housing and family.

Taking place in peoples living rooms in the Liverpool 8 area, She’s Leaving Home promises to be a breath-taking and intimate performance featuring local girl (and ex 20 Stories High youth theatre member) Brodie Arthur with puppetry by Zoe Hunter and music by internationally renowned cellist Semay Wu.

Expect something magical.

Suitable for ages 13 plus.

contemporary, youthful, authentic, melodic,
gritty, poetic, rebellious, cheeky
original, visual, challenging, tender
