The Village Hall - Unity Theatre

Tuesday 2nd November

Tues 2 Nov, 7:30pm

Performed live at Unity

As part of Homotopia Festival 2021

I don’t want to be the face of a generation or defend who I am to a million different people, I just wanna finish school, go to college, go to uni and be… y’know?

The West End’s got nothing on The Lower Thorpe Players, a troupe itching to make their small village a theatrical metropolis, but the high-speed train line is looming and will go directly through the heart of their community. Protests are failing. It’s up to them to accelerate their plans to celebrate their rural idyll. Can the show go on?

Tabby Lamb’s follow up to the critically acclaimed Since U Been Gone explores rural isolation, intergenerational queerness and show tunes, in this heart-warming play about the place we call home.
