Beep Beep! is a one-man show about a little boy, his dad, and the words left unsaid. After a shocking revelation, what should have been a moment of connection becomes their final conversation, leaving the boy overwhelmed by grief. He retreats into a magical world of his own making, filled with fantastical creatures, memories, and myths. But can he stay there forever? Told through playful clowning, tender storytelling, expressive movement, and rich mythical imagery, Beep Beep! balances humour and darkness to explore grief, memory, queer inheritance, and the fragile spaces between childhood and adulthood. The show asks how we carry those we lose, and how we learn to carry the weight of ourselves.
Isaac Nixon is a theatre-maker, director, actor, and writer whose work blends clowning, folklore, and physical theatre. He also works as an access support worker, drama facilitator, university lecturer, and children’s storyteller, performing as ‘Og the Giant’.
