Our Building

Our building is located halfway down Hope Place, a quiet residential street between Hope Street and Pilgrim Street; there is a slight slope rising from Pilgrim Street.

The building can be accessed two ways:

  • Via automatic double doors located at street level. From this entrance there are five steps leading up to our main foyer, or an access lift that takes you directly to our Box Office
  • Via a two tier ramp with handrails providing step few access directly to our foyer

Unity One is accessible from our ground floor foyer, with lift access available to both our bar and Unity Two.

We have accessible toilets on all three levels of our building.

Wheelchair spaces

Wheelchair spaces are available in both our performance spaces. Please reserve when making your booking. Easily accessible seating can also be reserved for audience members who prefer to transfer from a wheelchair to a seat – get in touch with our Box Office team for details.

Guide dogs

Guide dogs and hearing dogs are always welcome. Please let the Box Office know when booking your ticket so that we can arrange an aisle seat or have someone at hand to take care of your dog. Some of our productions contain loud noises and startling lighting effects. If this is likely to upset your dog please ask for advice when booking your ticket.

Hearing Enhancement

We have a hearing loop system available for audience members who are hard of hearing – these can be made available for audience members with and without hearing aids. Speak to the box office for more information or email
