The building can be accessed two ways:

Unity One is accessible from our ground floor foyer, with lift access available to both our bar and Unity Two.

We have accessible toilets on all three levels of our building.

These toilets are equipped with:

  • Grab bars and pull down supports, to the right side of the toilet.
  • An alarmed pull chord to the left of the toilet and emergency alarm buttons by the door of the toilet.
  • Baby Changing Facilities

Seat accessibility info

At Unity we have folding seats. They are 48cm wide and 44.5cm deep, with 6cm between seats and 50cm of legroom. Seats don’t have armrests. If these seats are not suitable or you have any questions about accessibility our Box Office team are always happy to help where we can and can be contacted at the email address or phone number below.

Carer Tickets

Free carer tickets are available on every production.

Guide dogs

Guide dogs and hearing dogs are always welcome. Please let the Box Office know when booking your ticket so that we can arrange an aisle seat or have someone at hand to take care of your dog. Some of our productions contain loud noises and startling lighting effects. If this is likely to upset your dog please ask for advice when booking your ticket.

Hearing Enhancement

We have a hearing loop system available for audience members who are hard of hearing – these can be made available for audience members with and without hearing aids. Speak to the box office for more information or email tickets@unitytheatre.co.uk
