Jason Varney slaves away at a sandwich production factory on the edge of a crumbling Northern town. His mother, Louise, riddled with her own desperate fear and anxiety, has been unable to leave the confines of her council flat in over seven months, dependent on Jason’s visits to provide food, medication and basic essentials. But when Louise befriends a new neighbour, Gina, a headstrong, self-possessed woman determined to transform her life for the better, Jason finds himself being pushed out of the picture.

What ensues is a frightening journey into the fractured mind of a desperate young man.

Saint Jason is an exploration of anxiety, control and dangerous compulsions.
