Self-proclaimed SPINSTER is going on a date, or is she? Set in a playful backdrop of karaoke, etymology and getting glammed, this play explores the ‘cost’ of being single in more ways than one. From glances across the 68 bus to deliberately breaking her washing machine (in hope of meeting a ‘peng’ engineer) SPINSTER has tried it all. But is this really providing her with fun and fulfilment anymore? Come round to SPINSTER’s for some organised fun and some deep pondering.
SPINSTER guarantees a fun, playful, interactive experience for audiences anchored by care. It balances universal themes of community, connection and addresses the epidemic of loneliness in a thoughtful, caring and playful way. It seeks to reunite audiences with their playfulness and always guarantees a unique viewing experience, due to different reception from different audiences, whilst also showcasing quality, quirky, witty new writing.
