Simone Tani | Creative’Pool Workshop
Monday 3rd November
6-8pm
This workshop explores the playful, instinctive side of performance through the use of half-masks.
Participants will be guided to let go of the pressure to “create” and instead discover movement, posture, and voice through spontaneous response.
This approach is rooted in the practice of Trance Mask, developed by improvisation pioneer Keith Johnstone at London’s Royal Court Theatre. Over the years, it has evolved into a powerful tool for actors and improvisers alike.
Simone Tani is a co-founder of award-winning theatre company Teatro Pomodoro and has taught masks at University of Chester, Edge Hill University, LIPA, National Taiwan University of Arts and in several organisation around the world.
