In these difficult times the Unity Theatre team will continue with every effort to support our wider communities. We’ll do our best to point you in the direction of valuable resources and information to support yourselves, families, friends and communities. We are setting up a resource centre online for sharing links and information regarding financial advice, mental health and wellbeing support, educational resources throughout school closures and city-wide initiatives for combating loneliness.

In due course we will be offering up our building to the authorities so that it could be made available and temporarily be repurposed if required.

We’ve spoken with many in the artistic community already but we want to hear from more of you to learn of ways in which we can support you. More information on all of this will come out over the coming days and weeks.

For those that would still benefit from engaging with the Unity networks, the following activity will be available virtually with information and dates detailed soon on our website and social media

Creative Card Programme:

  • Freelancer Wednesday’s
  • Introduction to Producing Surgery
  • Technical Skills Surgery
  • Mothers Who Make
  • Unity Pub Quiz
  • The launch of ‘A Kick Up The Arts’ podcast
  • Early Years Creative Play Sessions

With so much uncertainty for all going forward, today we concentrate on looking after each other. We’re working to ensure that Unity Theatre remains vibrant, accessible and a place for all of Liverpool, as it has been the last 40 years.

With love and Solidarity
Unity x
